Willy ;-)

The ‘mundane’ lady is quite tight up with her ‘social’ and ‘profesional’ life last few days ;-). Apologies. Will be a bit busier or buat buat busy till a bit after mid next month, entries to Mundane would be a bit slower….

********

Hah… only last weekend I FINALLY managed to get to The William place that has been highly promoted by many bloggers esp Lily ;-). So, I was very very determine to get there. Me and my significant other decided to dine there on a Saturday nite ( yeah..the nite where everyone wants to go dine therelah kan ). Locating the place is not a problem, as he has been there few times without me…hmmm *wink*..and when we reached the place, I was like “Heyyy..Ive been here before…” something like 8 years ago when I was staying in PJ, and that place was where we bought the leg@lpir@tedcds, and the stalls there was not so ‘happening’ as it is now.

So..that nite..crowded..no place to sit….waited 10 minutes. I looked around. The workers are all so busy running here and there. Customers, although crowded, are all happy and relax. One thing about this place. ( not trying to ‘downgrade’ – it’s a matter of my humble opinion), maybe I came on a wrong day, but the place is so messy, obvious boxes are stacked, makes the place more crampy. Tables position is not systematic. Cooking places are not properly arranged. For a place that is charging above the normal stall price ( although serving in large quantity ), I personally think they should do something about it to make it more comfortable, it don’t have to be pretty or elegant, just make it nice. And also, it is not hygienic enuf for me.. vain eh hehehee

Okay now, lets checkout the food, we ordered the ‘jug’ of ribena lychee and fresh mango juice..these are excellente!. Then we first had the mashed potato – nice, meatball spagget Bolognese - the meatball is superb, has creamy or cheesy stuffed inside it, the spaghetti are just so so. The Meat Lasagna – hmmm… looks nice, quite an amount of cheese..but the taste..for me..it is just not there. And that’s it, that’s all we had..very filling-meaty food made me cringed… I cant have anything else anymore …

Despite the fact that I am complaining about the ‘arrangement’ of the place, I will definitely go back there again and taste the rice with crab thingy, maybe not on a weekend. So far that nite, Williams are not so fantabulous ..lets just see on our second round.

eeeek...now iam promoting the place hehe..the exact location from lilys blog here

Car 101

3 days ago, the air condition of my car totally failed to ‘deliver’ the cool air while I was driving… I pressed the button many many times..it didn’t works. Shucks!..Called my better half and started to blabber blabber, “ I asked u to check tht day..bla bla bla..” “ I checked laa…twas doin fine..bla bla bla”, “ Then why it is like this.. blab blab..”, “ are u gonna scold me now while I am doing this…@#$%^” “ Yeah of course..m terribly warm and when I am warm I am very angry !@#$%” ( a normal kinda conversation )

Then after we met, he said it might be the fan motor or something and can cost up to nearly rm300. I was like oh dhang!...mid month ni…ok nemindlah waitlah a while. And then he said, “its okay I’ll get it fix day after tomorrow ya..just be patience, I’ll try to go off from the office early”. Ya okay .. sheesh

Yesterday, I had to do a lot of driving around….and its hot hot hot…and if its raining also hot!...Stucked in a stupid jam some more..Friday-raining-accident-everybody go off from work-kinda-jam.Yeah! can imagine aaa…

Called up my better half, “Where are you?” “Still here ( at the office)” “ What!..yre suppose to be on the road now..jam..raining..what time yre gonna reach here..the workshop will close..bla bla bla”, “ Can u please be patience..theres things that are not under my control @#$%^”

So I slowly drove around ( waiting for him ), picked up my kids, bought dunkin donuts..yummy..cool me down a bit.. and its getting dark.

“Where are you?” “ Still stuck in the jam in Jalan TARazak”, “Oh God”, “Theres this woman lying on the road, dead..accident..car..bike..crash..bla bla” “ Adoiii..its getting dark…I go to the workshop first lah..i’ll wait for you there”, “ Ok good idea..wait for me to nego the price”

Off me go to the workshop which is about to close.

Mechanic played along with the switch first…opened up the engine. Nothing wrong with the motor, only the switch. I asked, “ Kenapa dia rosak aaa..”,“ Lu dengar ini…” he shaked it, the switch has ticking ticking sound, something lose inside it… “OOOO…Okay..berapa?” “lima puluh lapan”, “Haiya bro switch kecik 58 ka” “ Original maaa..oklah..55”

Me was very happy *grinnnnnn”…

Called my better half again, he immediately asked, “So how much?”, “55”, “Huh?..What?”, “It’s the switch”, “ OOO..wait for me to come and pay, m near already” “Paid”, “O okay, we go for dinner after this” “ Okay..heheeee..” happyyy…that means he has a little extra, kaching!

Whoaaa… I felt like a hero, I can ‘manage’ the car by myself…

After dinner, “ Yang, can u fill up the air-tyre ..” *grinnnn*

Change tyre?..what is that??..touch wood..hey..i was taught to drift not fix cars hehe

okay ...okay..one fine day i will find the courage to learn ..ahaks

Nothing else matters...

"Sayangkan isteri tinggal tinggalkan
Sayangkan anak tangan tangankan"

..for me..that is not relevant anymore..
One: it could be the husband or it could be the wife busy working
Two: Theres too many 'disturbance' out there when husband/wife is too busy working, which defeat the real purpose of that statement
Three: Parents nowadays hafta use psychology to teach their children, canning would be the last resort
Four: When theres lack of intimacy, the marriage wont work, unless they continue living in denial..till death do they apart

Dhang! i am awfullly busy today, came back spring cleaned the house, tired and after that my mind is awfully disturb..

For whatever reasons..thou shalt

Monday April 14, 2008 The Star

Thou shalt not steal -- even for thy kid’s birthday

By CECIL FUNG

KUALA LUMPUR: Being short on money, a desperate father did the only thing he could think of to give his child a birthday present – steal. However, the 44-year-old man, a member of a film crew, was not lucky enough to get away with the act.

Security guards caught him when he exited a popular departmental store here without paying for the children’s clothing, which were worth RM133.70. On Monday, Amarjit Singh Jasmail Singh pleaded guilty to committing the shoplifting offence.

He admitted that he stole the items from the Jusco outlet in MidValley Megamall around 4pm on March 6. In mitigation, counsel Wan Ahmad Wan Omar asked for a reduced sentence saying his client did not have a lot of income.

“He committed the offence because he wanted to get a gift for his child’s birthday,” he said.
Magistrate Maimoonah Aid sentenced Amarjit Singh to a day’s jail and fined him RM800.

The fine was paid.

>>>>>>

This reminds me of a little incident happened to me about two years ago. I was at the Gi@nt Superm@rket. After paying, I slowly walked passed the five feet tall detector thingy and suddenly the alarm triggered. A woman with her 2 year old kid also walked out during the same time as mine.

Immediately the security lady stopped me and inspected me. While the women, dengan selambernyer, squated down just a few inches beside me ( I was standing with my hands spread out ) pretending to put on her baby shoes. At first, I was angry and puzzled. Then, I looked at the woman, in fact a few people around there was looking at the woman, even the security, I think, was aware of her. The shoes that was being put on is new. I looked at my other half. He gave me the just-stay-relax look and glanced at the woman.

And I thought, okayyyy..i am the scapegoat here, treated like a criminal and should I feel sorry for her?. I could have demand for explanations and make a request to checkout the cctv of what had actually happened. But, looking at the little kid, I decided to keep quiet and let them inspected me for just a merely 2 minutes. By the time we finished, the woman ..kapish..gone.

But then again, she looked like she is an expert, already 'teaching' the kid vices 101, that if, the kid is hers.

And as per the story above. I don’t know..mix feelings..felt sorry for the daddy, assuming his kid wanted the stuff so much that he can ill afford it and his intention was to make the kid happy. And usually..usually if you’re not a professional thief, you will surely get caught. Obviously, he is stupid (maybe out of preassure). But whatever the reasons are, stealing is not a choice, don’t even start. Hopefully, he learnt his lesson and hopefully he didn’t get into trouble out of that rm800 that was being paid.

As for robin hood…err..i like him hehe ( from the movie lah )

Coffee..anyone?

Hi everyone ;-)

I’m back from nowhere…

Just a lil bit busy ‘discussing’ with my soul..and some this and thats ;-)

I have nothing much to tell actually. Had a good time playing pool with my other half and lepak at a kedai mamak earlier this week. Nowadays, (it has been a long time), we rarely shoot-the-ball together although both of us loves the game. Time and responsibilities doesn’t permit us to. So, when he suggested he wanted to get chillin’, I said, why don’t we wait for the kids to sleep, then we go out for a while. And so, we went, had a good time. Just like the good ol days. We used to play pool, like 3 to 4 times a week. Then after we had our first baby, the activity stopped. But we do give each other space to enjoy ourselves goin’ out with others, instead of being together. Perhaps it’s a start now for us to ‘reactivate,’ since the kids now are easier to manage. Soon, we plan to go fishing again… probably a good thing for me in order to deviate certain issues that has been ‘boggling’ my soul ;-)

SPACEJAM! ( whatever that means :-) )

..sometimes the more you wanna run away from things, the more it comes to you..but what the heck..that is what we call ‘adventure’ hehe..live life to the fullest bebeh….just stay smart and equip yourself with enough shields and weapons..

*******

AT LAST! He finally sort of admit it..about time Mr PM..just one more step closer..*wink* maybe you should discuss with D.S. Anwar Ibrahim rather than Tun M ( since you dont want to listen to him), Anwar is back for good and stronger, according to here so let us all get ready for what is next.

Hellish!

Yesterday I was being a fool on the first day of April..

Nothin to do with the April fool thingy..

Smurfet …yre gonna laugh the loudest of what has happened to me yesterday hehe

I was kinda busy driving around yesterday with a very odd tummy ache and was very very sleepy ( someone gonna grinnnnn at me – ok ok..serves me right, stubborn stubborn, sorryyyy ) . So my last stop was buying groceries at Giant before I pick up Ayska from school. During shopping, I am sooo wanted to pee, but I cannot, as I was with my two little kids, and I won’t leave them with the trolley outside the toilet. So after putting the stuff in the car, I cannot stand anymore. I drove very fast towards the nearest petrol station which is already on the way to the school.

Parked the car right outside the toilet. Brought with me my handphone and the car keys. Locked the kids in…twas just for a while okayyy. Peed. Huuuu legaaa….Flushed….anddddddd the car keys that I was holding on ( I dono whyyyyyyyyyyy I didn’t put it in my pocket ) slipped off my hand and zasssssss right into the toilet bowl.

SHIT!

FOOL! ( I screamed )

And I actuallyyyy put my hands into the PUBLIC TOILET!…with my hair and FACE touching the floor of the PUBLIC TOILET!. The toilet is the type which theres no water in it, a long deep hole down below..no base…so DAMN!!!!..it is now swimming happily into the sea. I went out, panicked..discovered some ewwwwww stuff at my hands and my clothes…yucks yuckie yucks..Damn!!!!!.FILTHY!.Asked the kids to open the door..and of course the alarm started to scream. Called up my other half and my cousin. Just knew there was an alarm switch ( yeah yeah I am the type who knows nuts about cars ) after I asked someone to help me screw off the wire at the battery ( suggested by my other half ) but it makes sense also, as the switch will only be applicable after I put in the ignition key. Call up my mom for help, and I hafta explain the incidents until she understand before asking my dad to come to the rescue while i cleaned up the 'dirt'

Then we went back to my place, throw the filthy clothes..get the spare keys , Picked Ayska ( Of course with clothes on lah , in case yre wondering hehehee ). Went back to the car. My dad tried to screwed back the wire of the battery but the engine wont start. Ok…yeah…NOW WHAT..! Shucks!..and the spare key in the battery is out( eh edit edit..the battery in the spare key..tgk type pun dah terbalik just realized after reading this all over again)..so get the battery changed first ( rm6)…still the engine wont start. Get a mechanic, whom is nearby…fixed it in a sec, twas because some wires are not properly screwed ( rm10 )

Done!

Total damage RM16

Need to duplicate my car keys ..which I have not done yet..maybe I should duplicate three or four hehheh.

Came home exhausted!..Hafta manage the kids and the house. Bathe for almost 45 mins. And after that, I felt cold. Oh dhang! now I’m having FLU!..i cant barely move anymore.. Prepare only instant noodles for the kids for dinner. Then I wrapped myself with a thick blanket, striving to watch the tv..but I dozed off. Missed the Desperate Housewives show.

Woke up at arnd 1 am..cari maggi…hungryyyyy. How I wish someone could prepare me some nice food…mmmmm

Slept back arnd 2.30am, till 11 am today…feelin a bit dizzy, body ache..still imagining stuff that was 'crawling' on my hands

Duh!..what a day!

Laugh at me! laugh at me! ;-) and no!..i didn’t take any piccas, just imagine thru the illustration hehe

Smurfet..we are even now heheee
