Okay m a little bit late to write about this compared to some bloggers who passionately wrote about the winning of Estranged of the recent AJL. Undoubtedly, this english-medium underground band who has put in one malay songs in their latest album has prove that Malaysians can actually produce good and fresh music then just blaming the Indonesians controlling the music business here.. I tried to support Malaysians music as much as i can but i cannot stop listening to our neighbour's music..they are so good..so creative. Even initially I thot Itu Kamu is an Indonesian-band's song, and twas a big relief that it is not,, Estranged has put themself as the benchmark here. Congrats Guys!

And while i was so happy that they won even though i couldnt b bothered to really concentrate on the whole event - ( ni Faizal punya pasallah nih )..I was wondering what estranged means! Hey ..i dono what it means...what the heck is it mannnn

So i looked up lah Dictionary.com ( phew! to the www ) and it means...

Another memory..

What radio channel dya tune to?

The only time i listen to the radio is when m driving..and i listen to Red FM 104.9 only! Why? because they air mostly of the songs that i like that is during the 80's to middle 90's. Less Glamourous but Very interesting ( at least for me - dont have to deliberately and consistently downloading all the old old songs ). Once in a while they play the latest songs. They have less commercials and a lot less of the 'celoteh'. The only 'talk talk' session they have is around 6pm, which they asked the listeners some interesting questions.

A couple of the questions they asked recently was:

1. What was your earliest memories?
The deejay said that theres this person whom he knew told him that he still remember the time he was still in the womb! duhhhh..... odd..hard to believe.. but again it is an interesting question i cant even remember what i ate yesterday! hehe

I think i remember the time when i was around 5-6 years old. That time i was staying in mindef...big single storey house with a large compound, next to the house are the forest like the Sherwood's. I saw this one beautiful fat string about 10 inch long, lying on the grass, shiny and colourful, i picked it up. Immediately, after i picked it up i felt weird. it felt 'slimy' and 'lembik'..my father who was near me that time, after seeing me 'gazing' at the thing he quickly took it frm me and threw it off to the nearest bush hehe... twas a dead baby snake .. at least that was what he said... not sure whether twas really dead hehehe. ..that was the last time i touch a snake..i dont mind worms though for my fishing bait ;-P

and i also remember i fell into a small drain infront of that house, I was on a bike, and i wasnt even moving!... twas 7pm though... my dad starts to get superstitious..well i dont remember 'anyone' pushed me but i seriously do remember i didnt even move i was just sitting on the bike! and i suddenly fell...well, the house was haunted anyway...nenenenene..twilight zone...

2. Have you name any parts of your body or the things that u like/love/attached to, names.

Theres a caller saying she named her toes Sally when she was a little girl..heheh thts cute. And another caller sayin she calls her 'bantal busuk' Stinky and she still has it although now shes married...hmmm....the husband according to the caller has actually asked her to remove it ( frm the bed I assume ) but she dont want! how very unfortunate heheheeeeeee

Well, i dont remember 'naming' anything..... should start lah kan..sound cute

Matrix and Retro moment

Just now i was watching The Matrix: Reloaded aired by tv3, another all time favourite movie. Last week they showed the first of the trilogy. I enjoyed watching it agaain but until The Revolution things start to get messy and a bit confusing but hafta admit The Wachowski bros did make an impact out of the movie esp the slow moving scenes. When first watching it at a movie theater, as you come out from the theater u start to walk like Neo . (.uuuu...my favourite..thats y lah got Neo infront of my nick hehe)..hehe. Just like as u walk out after watching Transformers and u start to imagine all vehicles turn to Robots - until now Amar call any sports car that he sees as Transformers.

So after the movie ( with a lot of commercials ) i had a very late dinner, while eating i was browsing thru the channel and was quite surprise that RTM2 was actually airing MacGyver..oh wow! the olskool kinda tv series... back in 1986..lurve the cute MacGyver and the series 'chemistry-to get your way out-concept'..and so i will make a point that on Friday 12.30 midnite tune in to The best of Retro in RTM2 ( which i rarely tune in to )

..and this is my problem

This past two weeks I’ve been quite busy assisting a few close friends on their personal matters..yeap personal matters… simply because I have the time to do that although I have to bring the kids with me. ..But I’m glad ..to be the friend in need

Not trying to prove anything here…my nature..since I was little..i just cant say no to friends when I have the capabilities to give a helping hand or just accompanying them in no matter what condition and my parents were always mad at me for havin so many friends…and I think too much of other people feelings than mine. Ironically I am quite selfish on certain issues.( naturally, being an only child I guess hehe)…I sometimes despise myself for being helpful/concern.

And this is my problem… I like to help people but my problems..I keep to myself as long as i can until it is really really out of my control..then only the closest closest friends I go to.Because I think/feel others cant solve my problems except myself..selfish eh..

And now.am telling this to the world…why?..because after some roller-coasters ride I had few years back I think life is there for you to have fun no matter how many/much problems/money you have. As long as you’re sincere..things will be smooth. Just do what u want to do! You should look for somethin’ that makes you smile when u aint smiling…if you know what I mean..do not care what other people think..well…that other people depends on how u define them though…selfish eh..

As for now I don’t care…

Last weekend after Ayska’s arts class in Bangsar I had a good lunch with two of my good friends. It is not just a good lunch..its for them to release whatever problems they are/were havin..and I kept askin them questions..and they let it go..

But me…heh…I kept quiet..mine it is not as bad.. (refer to line 13)

Well, the lunch was in Delicious Bangsar Village… Delicious! But the service was so so – as there was so many people there. Quite pricey..but the food is served in a huge potion..fair enough. But if yre on diet you should just share the ala carte meals...One of the friend belanja us hehe..so itsokay…thanks beb..( just to let you know I was there for you sincerely , you don’t have to belanja everytime yeah ) Another plus point Sheila Majid and family came and sit at a table near us..nak tangkap gambar tapi maluuuuuu heheheeee..another problem of mine..

…and had a good lunch with another long time friend of mine ..twas fun..i deserved it ( refer to line 18 )..after my pool session..yesterday ..came home smiling

Some pending pictures and stories

Wokeh..i finally uploaded some piccas...been postponing for quite sometimes..very the malas lah nowadays to upload hehe :-) so here goes - enjoy....


This is on the 10th of December, Ayska Birthday..she shares same day with the Opah, so we had a simple family gathering at Sakura Kristal Melawati. After taking out the cake from the box then the waiter said for birthdays you get one free desert..wah..kool ..got a bread and butter pudding with ice cream - so sweet and creamy. this was the day after we watched The Enchanted.

then on the 3rd January..Amar's birthday @ Pizza Hut. Amar just woke up, thts y the face were so 'muncung' until he saw the Opah got him present and the cake..;-). We took the annivessary set and got 2 free smallpan pizza set ..eh kool.. and the waiters all sang bday song for him out loud!..and he loves his ultraman cake bought from Zidni.


On the New Year Day, picked other half from work..went lunch at Uptown Damansara at 3 pm...it has been a while ive not been there. Not many places open. but had a good rm10 steak and 3 large thick mushroom soup for only rm3 each...thats a very very reasonable price and a very nice nasi goreng mamak. While eating, it rained very heavily.. we were 'stucked' there for a while and had to put an umbrella on our table... then the rain didnt show that its gonna stop so we 'redah' la to the car soaking wet...


We were at Bagan Lalang last weekend..just a weekend getaway.. slept over at Hotel Sri Malaysia family room


A nice place. for a short holiday about 1 hour 15 minutes driving in a rain drive from KL...Had Seafood at HM Restaurant, cheap but not so fresh lah the fish..dono why...but the cooking is nice..worth it. Thank goodness we came early..as it was Saturday nite..there was sooo many people there. After food... we drove by the seaside and went back to the hotel..not so much to see and do. ..but good to relax. They're building an exclusive place there... and the place wont b as cheap as now i assume...



the next day after breakfast and swimming pool session we went to the beach... We decided to buy a kite rm10..the kids was excited..but ended up the father yang main...the wind was so right for the kite..so many ppl are playing kites there. I am more interested with playing with the sand..i can sit there all day to built sand castles heheheeeee..but my other half sand castle are so much better than mine ...
