Blogging WORLD!

Most bloggers are women

KUALA LUMPUR: If you are a Malaysian and you have your own blog, the odds are that you’re a woman, aged 25 or under. Sixty-four per cent of local bloggers are female and 74% of them are in that age group.

This is a finding of an international online survey involving more than 25,000 Microsoft MSN web portal visitors in August and September.
The survey, Blogging Asia: A Windows Live Report, was conducted in Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

It found that 41% of Malaysians who went online also blogged. Malaysia’s bloggers primarily do it for entertainment and to share their lives with family and friends. “Blogging has moved into the mainstream in Asia and Malaysia, and has become a popular way to stay in touch with family and friends,” said Grant Watts, Microsoft South-East Asia general manager for online services group.
The survey found that 56% of Malaysians blogged to express passionately held views, while 49% blogged to keep friends and family updated.
Some 34% just like having a little corner of cyberspace to call their own.
Only a small number, about 3%, said they were practising “citizen journalism.”

As for blog-reading habits, 63% of respondents said they read blogs for entertainment, while technology, travel and music were the three most widely read blog topics across Asia and in Malaysia. The majority of blog readers, 81%, are most interested in blogs written by friends or family.

Far behind in popularity are blogs by celebrities, pop stars and workmates. Blogs by business leaders and politicians garner the least interest.

Blog readers said they looked for good writing and plenty of pictures.

...and so...ladies and gentlemen... ladies likes to write... ladies like to put thoughts, views and passions into words - now better - can be viewed all over the world!! - so is it a waste of time...blogging...definitely no! bloggers dont just write..they also read...The first time i discovered blog..i'd like WOW! - and that was just 6 months ago...hehe...better late than never... and so... Men... less of you according to the survey are bloggers - funny - I c a lot of men blogging - n they are more creative in posting - sorry girls - thats from what i c...maybe i havent seen enuff..

So... theres also an issue of quality blogs - well for me good bloggers are when they keep the blog updated every now and then - the better one - everyday - with interesting posts or pictures regardless of how the write it - janji i can comprehende..

Now as you can see i put a little bit of new touch here and there in my blog...these past few days i was meddling with the HTML codes...trying things that i may want to 'stick' on my blogs -sometimes freak me out when i pasted wrong stuff and change my blog into haywire...nasib baik tere kungfu - change it back to normal...pheww..hehe..and I am still testing here and there - so if u click anywhere and didnt get to go anywhere - then it is still under construction heheee or I was still tryin to fig out what the toot has happened... or not happen..

I also dream of makin money out of this - but i think i have a few things to learn and change - errr...not a few...a lotttttt and i might change the title even...or create another blog.. later later... I was actually been bombarded via email ( due to my curiosity - by registring to one of the internet business experts ) on how to make money out of this...Still thinking whether it is necessary just yet - as i barely have enough viewers/traffic...the process is slow...slowwwly but surely...

so care to vote on my mini poll ... good ka..terrible ka...

the birth day - with family -the best

Last Sunday was my birthday... so.. it was my birthday...many years did not celebrate... it is just like any other day... but then last sunday my other half planned to bring us all to a simple outing. Watch movie and eat pizza.

..and so we went and watch... HAPPY FEET... as per normal = cartoon...although dlm hati wanted to watch the departed, the covenant.. or at least Casino Royale ( not handsome enuf actor ) ... but dream onnnnn... if bring the kids to watch those - they will be dead bored and we end up not watching those movies

...but Happy Feet...not badddd.... about a penguin who is unable to sing like others, as the singing skill is needed in order for them to mate, but he has an extraordinary dancing skill, tap dancing to be exact..and so.. the 'clan' despise his skills..and so he went off...met funny penguin frens.. had his adventure...and..happy ending... u can read the preview HERE.

We went to the movie theater at Ampang.. MBO Cineplex - the same place I watched Scary Movie with some stmarians... the complex is so pathetic..not many shops open...only the level where the theater have 'life'... so after we bought the ticket we go and had some snack at the Auntie Yap corner - the Auntie in her late 40's i think - rockkk - a patch of her hair has a touch of red colour, with her colourful beads 'sewn' to her jeans and a tight shirt - and at the counter and sometimes wondering around with his hands on his back, smiling to everyone is her husband .. so i ordered waffles and my other half ordered kuey tiow soup.. the waffles - normal.. but the kuey teow soup very tasty...but the small-small karaoke rooms beside the shop is making the place very uncomfortable - as we can hear those ppl shouting their headoff - nuisance environment - but although the place is a bit 'cekai' - but I still lurve it - as there is pool tables and video games - can bring the kids to play together with us and they had fun...

After that - had pizza then headed back home - kids became so tired - and so we managed to watch The Appremtice Season 4 final peacefully ---Sean - the metrosexual-handsome-arabic brits won YAY!...

Pheeeeeeewiiiiiiiiiit

Cool2
Haha... this 'slogan' usually sounds like whistling FEWIT!! when you whistle and it may be a bit louder when you put two fingers in your mouth - which i never know how its done - i can whistle but when i do the fewit thingy - it is not loud enuf... so i guess the two fingers inside the mouth might work - but never mind! - coz Amy Search has made it to a whole lot of different dimension of using the 'slogan' - its his trademark - instead of FEWIT! in a faster pace - he made it to a slower paste to Feeeeeeeeeewiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit - among his fans its already a must use 'slogan' - but when recently the advertisement on the MENTOR show - about a young lad who wants to enter a singing competition but failed miserably - went back into the jungle and pleaded to his 'mentor' " tunjuk ajarku sifu!" who is wearing star-wars-jedi-look-alike costume - and when the hood was taken off - Amy went "feeeeeeeeewiiiiiiiiiiit" - dono for what reason actually hehe but it was cute -so as a result my kids now are "fewit-fewiting" .. :-) - and so the 'slogan' that Amy 'trademarking' had been use for a lot of other reasons rather than only;

1. looking at girls or sexy girls ( even the girls now are' fewiting' when looking at guys -hmm daring )
2. looking at celebrities
3. In a concerts or shows

Is is now being used for maybe

1. compliment / acknowledgement in a fun manner or maybe rude manner for some
2. looking at good food serve on the table
3. looking at hot cars or while driving it
4. caught a fish
5. looking at hot gadgets
6. err..what else.. little boys looking at preety little girls ( waa...dah jadi moral issue nih )
7. ...you figure it out lah -... add the list...

In short...it has create a little impact.... maybe good maybe bad... up to individual

for me... its kinda cute - for a veteran-stillcute-rock-singer

DEF LEPPARD

I was never a rock music fan when i was a teenager, not until DEF LEPPARD came out with their killersongs in 1988 that is love bites, pour some sugar on me and hysteria - i used to listen only pop and rnb before then - then during that year in 1988 when i was in form four ( where thay call a honeymoon year sort of ) i was introduced to DEF so i was like " hmmm not baddddd..." - and so from there i bought their album and started to learn to head shaking banging, not did i go to clubs/disco at that age to do that - at home only la - when felt like rockin' - and also from there i started to listen to guns n roses, scorpions, deep purple, nirvana - what else, haa..bon jovi ( when to his concert in Shah Alam - that was i think 11 years ago - it was not a good one - the sound system was bad ) - and a few more rock bands that i cant recall anymore...also start to listen to malay rocks music which i never thought i would - Search , Wings, Febians, M Nasir - errr...thats about all i think at that time. I was a little late to start to listen to them, Def was formed in 1979, Scorpions = wayyyy years ago, deep purple also.. and i lurve their music - rock but not too heavy..

..and so I didnt stop buying Def Leppard album - but when they came out with compilations - I didnt buylah - got almost all the songs - and then the 'rockin' stopped for a while when i started to have kids...

when they performed a concert here, I think about 5-4 years ago - of course I felt like going - but I cant bring my baby along lah kan = nanti they freak out looking at the crowd..heheh - theres no way I could go pun...

Just recently, i browse their websites- i just found out that they have released a new album with new songs on May this year...alamak aaii...should i buy aa and make my kids listen to it...err..eh why not - but the other day i listen to a rock song ( purposely with loud volume = felt like rockin ) - my daughter was like, " eeeeee...lagu apa nih mummy ..bisssing laaa " ( "what kind of songs is this - noisy ")- she put her hands at her ears and run away screaming....( not screaming like afraid of something or what - screaming laughing away ) :-P..oh well..she will one day figure out her favourite tunes... my utmost favourite is always the rhythm and blues - will post about it later..

mad news

This entry post news actually dah basi but I kept it as a draft a bit after my latest post - and then I had this "confuse-body-system-function" in me - and it took a while for me to even face the computer and then I went to my parents place and slept over for a few days after they came back from holiday.. and then just yesterday I started blogrolling - fuhh alamak banyak nak kena catchup with bloggers - and I decided to just post this entry as I think it was a 'hadiah-hari raya-news" for the nation....;)

The first time I saw this picture I like... SH****T!! OMG = the driver actually carelessly recklessly 'overshot' the railway in Sentul - It makes me paranoid a bit - as sometimes when i am in the train espescially on the higher track or in a tunnel the negative side of me imagine scenes shows in hollywood movies as regard to train accidents - y'know what I mean - I am quite terrified but dont worry i am still in control - furthermore recently theres frequent train breakdown -why aa...change management ka? ..

..and this house issue in Kelang is a total joke of the year... the guy is so 'politician' that he has to built his mansion amongst small houses around him - "hello - YB...you want to built something like that without being notice and without paying any fees or some sort - built it among the big houses la at shah alam ka, damansara ke, bangsar ke..then people don't notice at all..well..oh ya kan...those places not under MPK jurisdictiction where u're the member..but..u want to have that kind of house whatttt..."..most of the time - money and power makes people stop using their brain..

I respect Tun Mahathir so much - he has all the quality for a leader, he made our country so successful and he don't care what others would say.. and he make our country dreams comes true..but the recent feud just make me wonder... I think - Pak Lah is a good leader but he has slow things down, I understand his intention..to built the basic back as in morals, ethics, the rural people, the agricultural sector that Dr. M didnt concentrate on while he is busy developing the country..pro and cons..is no wonder Dr M was angry as few projects and plans were diverted - and he cant accept that at all - and Pak Lah is asking people around on how to make a decision - Yes, true, we need to built up the basic - but you need to buck up! -and Dr. M - I know you're loud - but don't embarassed people who work with you and obeyed you before.. and I don't like the idea reporters started to interview Anwar Ibrahim again due to the issue- why? - nothing much i just dont favour his personality.....
Get well soon DR.M
